A Case Study from Dekton® by Cosentino: MU Jiaoxi Hotel

Trans Globe, the owner of the hotel, fell in love with the aesthetic of Dekton® Aura, with its soft white background and winding veins that resemble Carrara marble. In contrast, the warm black marbling and soft veins of Dekton® Kelya complemented the features of Dekton® Aura, resulting in a wholesome and sophisticated façade design. The natural character of Dekton®, its advanced technology and easy maintenance were key elements in the development of this project.

Dekton® allows a uniform design to be created, making all the walls of the building appear clad in a single covering. Characteristics such as high resistance to ultraviolet rays, resistance to extreme temperatures, excellent dimensional stability, colour stability, resistance to scratching, low porosity and high resistance to stain and graffiti are essential properties for the use of Dekton® by Cosentino in the exterior facades of the MU Jiaoxi Hotel.

Dekton® by Cosentino has ETA 14/0413 (European Technical Assessment) and CE (for ventilated façades in accordance with ETAG 034) certifications that attest to its ideal nature as a cladding for ventilated façades.
